FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, we kindly ask that all guests RSVP by September 30th. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we will tragically have to mark you down as a “no.” We are required to provide the venue with a total guest count, in a timely manner, and will be unable to make adjustments to this at a later date. Your timely response means the world to us—thank you!

Question

Can I bring a plus one or a child ?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those who are formally invited. We kindly ask that only the individuals named on the invitation attend the wedding and all related events. As this is an intimate destination wedding, we ask that our guests respect our wishes and not extend invitations to others. We truly appreciate your understanding in helping us keep this celebration meaningful and personal. As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults.

Question

Dress Code

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Since it will be springtime in Lake Como, we encourage guests to wear muted spring colors or neutrals—think soft pastels, earth tones, and elegant neutrals like sage, blush, and taupe. Please avoid bright or neon colors so we can all complement the natural beauty of the villa and surroundings!

Question

What will the weather be like in Lake Como in April?

Answer

April in Lake Como typically brings mild, pleasant weather, with daytime temperatures ranging from 60–68°F and cooler evenings around 45–52°F. While sunshine is common, occasional light rain showers are possible. We recommend dressing in light layers for daytime comfort and bringing a jacket, shawl, or wrap for the evening, especially for any outdoor celebrations near the lake.

Question

What is the nearest airport to Lake Como, and how do I get to the venue or accommodations?

Answer

The most convenient airport for Lake Como is Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), located approximately 1 to 1.5 hours from the lake by car or train. To reach the venue or your accommodation from the airport, you have a few options: ❥ Private Transfer or Car Service- The most direct and comfortable choice—great for small groups or those traveling with luggage. We recommend booking in advance. ❥ Train- From Malpensa, take the Malpensa Express to Saronno or Milano Centrale, then transfer to a train bound for Como San Giovanni. From there, take a taxi or ferry to reach your accommodation. ❥ Rental Car- Renting a car allows flexibility to explore the area. Just note that parking can be limited in some parts of Lake Como. ❥ Taxi or App-Based Ride Services- Taxis are available at all major airports and train stations. We also recommend downloading local ride apps such as Uber or Bolt, which can be helpful for short-distance travel around Lake Como or to/from nearby towns. As we get closer to the wedding date, we’ll share more detailed arrival guidance and local transportation tips. In the meantime, please plan accordingly and allow extra time for arrival, as the time difference is significant and we want to ensure our guests are well-rested.

Question

How far is lodging from the wedding venue?

Answer

We recommend our guests stay in or near Lenno, as that is where we will be staying. Lenno is a beautiful lakeside town with great accommodation options and is conveniently located just 15 minutes away from our wedding venue, Relais Villa Vittoria, in Laglio. Staying nearby will make it easy to travel to and from the venue while also giving you the chance to enjoy the charm of Lake Como’s western shore.

Question
