Diego and I reconnected the summer after freshman year of college. I added him off of his best friend’s Snapchat story, and the rest was history!

When we first started hanging out, I had to get a procedure done and he had to go to a church camp. This delayed our first meeting, but it’s okay because everything worked out! 

Our first date was watching the sunset at our local lake, on the docks. We sat there for hours just talking! It was such a sweet memory because both of us were so nervous. 

Our second date was at Ropemill waterfalls! I know this sounds weird to say but there was a moment I had that day that made me feel like he could be the one. We were cliff jumping and he had already jumped off. He was making fun of me as I was afraid to jump from the top. The way he looked at me and made fun of me made me laugh and it just felt like a familiar feeling. In this moment, looking at him, it just felt like we were going to be together for a longggg time. I guess you could say the feeling was correct.
