Maddy
Maid of Honor
Maddy and Kennedy met on Facebook—as true love often begins online these days, so did their story. Her opening line was, “Are you still looking for a roommate?” and the rest is history. Maddy and Kennedy have been inseparable for the last 7+ years, from navigating being broke college kids in Monterey to moving to San Diego together and everything in between. Kennedy often says she feels like she has two soulmates in this lifetime, Dalen and Maddy. She’s been an integral part of planning the wedding, and Kennedy is so thankful to have her by her side through it all.
Izzy
Best Man
Izzy, as some would describe, is Dalen's long-lost twin, brother, or cousin—but now, best man. Their story began in high school, and over the years they've stayed close through college, moves, and different careers. Dalen has learned to lean into Izzy's competitive nature and use it to get under his skin—especially when Izzy deserves it most. They say the people you love can give you their worst, and that’s been the constant in their friendship, with love of course. Whether they're gaming or discussing the latest Love Island recoupling, someone is always going after it. With Izzy back in California, Dalen is looking forward to the future and is grateful to call him his best man.
Jordan
Bridesmaid
Meeting your boyfriend’s family is always a little scary—especially when it comes to the oldest sister. Luckily for Kennedy, Jordan approved! Over the years, Kennedy and Jordan have become so close. They’ve seen each other through college, celebrated as Kennedy stood by Jordan’s side as a bridesmaid, and cheered Jordan on as she graduated law school and passed the bar. They’ve become proud parents to their beloved furbabies and have helped each other navigate the chaos of their 20s. Jordan and her husband Jace have also become Kennedy and Dalen’s dream travel pair, and they're always scheming their next trip together. Kennedy has always been incredibly thankful for Jordan. She truly feels like the sister she never had and looks up to her in so many ways. She’s beyond grateful for their friendship and so honored to have Jordan as a bridesmaid in her own wedding.
Jace
Groomsman
Before Jace officially became part of the family, he and Dalen were like brothers. Whether it was hooping late at night or fishing in places they probably shouldn’t have been, they would hop fences to do it together. They share so many memories that both would likely call “the good ole days.” Long before they were even engaged, Dalen and Kennedy always pictured Jace as their wedding officiant. It just made sense, and they were thrilled when he agreed. They’re honored to have him lead such an important moment in their lives. Dalen is grateful to have Jace as his older brother, travel buddy, mentor, and now, the officiate his wedding.
Hailey
Bridesmaid
Kennedy and Hailey's story began in high school. Picture this: Hailey, the effortlessly cool, talented, and kind cheerleader, and Kennedy... the quirky show choir kid. Hailey took Kennedy under her wing, teaching her how to be cool, find confidence in herself, and, of course, enjoy countless backyard karaoke sessions complete with an endless supply of snacks. There is probably some digital footprint of those sessions on Facebook somewhere. Yikes! Over the years, their friendship has withstood the test of time, from high school halls to navigating a long-distance relationship filled with voice memos and vlogs, and even celebrating Hailey's journey into motherhood with her sweet babies: Nora, Aria, and Drudell.
Kaden
Groomsman
Since the day Kaden was born, he’s always been one step ahead. From the moment he could walk, he pushed every boundary, constantly testing what he could and couldn’t do. Growing up, that drive pushed Dalen to work a little harder to keep up as the older brother (though that didn’t last too long). The one thing Kaden will never top, though, is Dalen’s ability to catch more fish than anyone with a line in the water. A win is a win. Dalen couldn’t be prouder of the man Kaden’s become and is truly honored to have him standing by his side on his wedding day. He knows without a doubt that Kaden’s going to be the best uncle one day.
Jamie
Bridesmaid
Jamie and Kennedy's story started off as a classic tale of enemies to besties. That’s dramatic, but on Kennedy’s first shift at Dutch Bros where Jamie was working in 2016, she was actually a bit nervous of Jamie and her 5'3" self. Their love story began to blossom in the back of the coffee shop during post-work debriefs while sitting on dirty milk crates. They’ve both lived so many lives over the past (almost) decade, and although their friendship is long distance, it’s truly one of a kind. Jamie holds such a special place in Kennedy’s heart. Siri, play “Hey Daddy” by Usher... and good luck getting them off the dance floor.
Titamus
Groomsman
Titamus is the only person Dalen has ever met who could effortlessly replace Jonathan Goldsmith as the most interesting man in the world. No one is more unapologetically themselves than him. Shortly after they met on Discord, Titamus became one of Dalen’s closest friends. The two spent countless nights gaming, often destroying their sleep schedules. Even though Titamus lives in Texas, they talk more now than they ever would if he lived nearby. Of all Dalen’s people, no one understands his homebody tendencies quite like Titamus.
