On the rolling Tuscan hills, dominated from a small medieval village and only a few kilometres from the famous Orcia Valley, rises the Italian romantic Villa Bellaria. Once an aristocratic residence, now crowned by olive groves in a green natural landscape with views of a small medieval village in Maremma valley. Villa Bellaria is a peaceful place where the refined atmosphere of old country residences can still be experienced. An authentic Tuscany, which has remained intact over the centuries, unknown as it is for both development and mass tourism. In the heart of Tuscany's wine district, where 7 of Italy's top wines are produced. Villages such as Grosseto, Siena and Montalcino are within easy reach. Beautiful walking and cycling opportunities with panoramic views. (E-bikes can be pre-ordered) There is a large swimming pool at the venue with views to the olive trees and the medieval village. The family represents the local Hospitality in the "Patronal Villa" where all food is homemade and grown organically on site. They use exclusively local producers and fresh ingredients.

How is the weather during this time of year in Tuscany?

September / October is summer in Tuscany, bring comfortable clothes and shoes during the day. “Summer formal” for the ceremony and wedding reception, but also a jacket / shawl for the evenings. The ceremony and dinner will be held outdoors, so we advise against stilettos

How to get there

We recommend your to book flight tickets as early as possible, for example to Rome FCO (1 hour and 40 minutes) or Pisa (2 hours) for overview use for example www.momondo.com Hiring a car at the airport will give you more freedom to explore the countryside during the weekend. This may be nice for those for mornings, or those who will travel elsewhere in Italy before or after the wedding. There is free on-site car parking. You take the train to the main railway station and continue to Grosseto. From Grosseto, there are cabs/taxis right outside of the train station.
