It’s a Wedding!

Hi! We’re Andy and Kennedy. We have known each other for over a decade. We became friends through community theatre productions in the Antelope Valley, even though Kennedy would say Andy was “too chaotic” and Andy said Kennedy “thought she was too good for everyone else there.” Both of these assumptions were accurate. Luckily, after several years of maintaining our friendship, the two of us got coffee one afternoon and realized that we had both matured and grown to be even better suited for each other. And we got way hotter. So, naturally, we started dating and fell in love quickly. After four years of life together, Andy proposed to Kennedy in Central Park on October 6, 2021. It involved an extensive 3-mile walk through the park, a local woman feeding rats, and Kennedy freezing in shock and forgetting to say yes. It was chaotic, unnecessarily complicated, and absolutely perfect. We are excited to have an excuse to go back to New York as often as possible. As we look forward to a marriage together, we have continued to strengthen our relationship by creating a safe space for each other, encouraging each other to pursue the things that frighten us, and choosing not to get angry with each other when our dog pees right *next* to the grass pad on the balcony.
