FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

While we have not selected a strict dress code, we would love everyone to look and feel their best in an elevated-causal to semi-formal look! Our wedding is springy and fun, so dress up with us! Think... garden party! We want to see your best spring florals and bright colors! We trust that you will use your best judgment!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we wish everyone could share this special day with us, we have limited space and resources. We have done our best to make sure as many people are included in this big day as possible. We have sent out invitations with specific names and details, and we have accounted for children and single guests. If your invitation or RSVP does not specify a plus one, please do not bring one. This ensures we have enough room and resources for all our invited guests! We understand if this keeps you from attending, and look forward to celebrating with you at a later time!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We are so excited to share this day with everyone we hold dear to us... and that includes your children! We have accounted for children to be present at our wedding and are very excited for them to be there! Again, we have limited space, and have specified children on each invitation and RSVP. If your little one is not specified on the RSVP, please do not bring them. This is to make sure we have enough room and resources for everyone to enjoy! We understand if this keeps you from attending, and look forward to celebrating with you at another time! If you have any questions, feel free to message us!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6 pm. We ask that everyone arrive at least 20-30 minutes early to minimize interruptions. (i.e, after 6 pm, no one will be allowed to enter the ceremony hall)

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that no phones be out during the ceremony for pictures, recordings, or otherwise, as we want everyone to be in the moment with us on our big day. We will have the officiant say a friendly reminder prior to the start of the ceremony. You are more than welcome to find us after the ceremony for photo ops!

Question

Can I take pictures after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we will take our traditional pictures that include the bride and groom, the wedding party, parents, grandparents, and siblings. You are more than welcome to enjoy yourself in the reception hall during this time, and we will be most excited to take pictures with you during the reception!

Question

Will there be alcohol provided?

Answer

There will be a limited open bar consisting of beer, wine, and margaritas that you are welcome to. Please keep in mind that you are at somebody's wedding and there will be law enforcement on site. NOTE: per the alcohol laws in this county, we will STOP serving alcohol 2 HOURS PRIOR to the end time of the reception.

Question

Who should I contact on the day of the wedding?

Answer

If you need to contact the Bride, please reach one of her Maids of Honor: (409) 377-4489 OR (409) 782-1708 If there is an emergency regarding the Bride, please reach the Mother of the Bride: (409) 781-6398 If there is an emergency regarding the Groom, please reach the Mother of the Groom: (409) 384-0819 If you need to contact the groom, just text him, LOL

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

While we appreciate gifts, your presence is the best gift of all, and we are so excited to see you there! However, if you would like to send gifts, we are registered on Amazon, which is linked here on our website. We also have a newlywed fund that is linked to Venmo (we figured this would be more trustworthy than a third-party website)
