Their story began while attending Colorado School of Mines where they first met at a Halloween party in October—the same month that they’ll be tying the knot. Kennede is usually shy and reserved, never one to start a conversation first, but the night they met was different. Overhearing a group talking about track, something told Kennede to step in and use that opportunity to mention that she ran track at their school. Though if you ask Eric, he will claim they had met several times before, with the first being when they were both leaving practice and crossed paths. To this day Kennede insists this was just his imagination. What started as a casual conversation at a party soon turned into something incredibly special, and now, they’re thrilled to celebrate their love this October.
