We're getting married!

We met at Butch and Abby Rea's wedding rehearsal on June 5th, 2020! We were about to die of a heat stroke and I walked up and asked him to lift me up to turn on the fan. He was shocked and a little taken back, but he did it anyway. He lifted me with no problems (strong man) and when he let me down I started a conversation. We pretty much haven't stopped talking since! We bonded over the hay being baled on the property, cattle, and work. He heard my whole life story that night and didn't run away.

For our 1-year anniversary, I wanted to go up to eat at Top of the Rock and show Hunter where I used to work. I knew he'd love it. We planned to go on the Nature Trail, and then finish with dinner. I used to work at the Welcome Center where I sent people down the Nature Trail, so I was excited to give Hunter the ultimate guide! The night before I learned there was a new lookout on the trail that I hadn't seen, so I was super excited to see that. Much to my surprise, Hunter already knew about the new lookout, planned for my best friend Whitney to be there, and she was hiding waiting for us to get there. When we got to the lookout, we walked out to it, took some selfies, then when we were the only two out there, he got down on one knee! Whitney was there, in disguise, ready to take the perfect pictures. When we got to the restaurant to celebrate with dinner, both our families were there to celebrate with us! It was the perfect evening joined with the ones we love most.
