Once upon a time, in a land not far, far away, there was a boy and girl who had mutual friends. We met on December 18, 2015. We would spend much time with our beloved friends. As time passed, we always kept in touch. We kept it as friends at first, but slowy we began to realize how we felt. Despite being states away at the time, the question was asked. October 18, 2016 marks the day we started dating. It was very new to both of us, but overcoming many hurdles made our relationship stronger and each day loving one another more than the day before.
August 18, 2018 was the special day. Ken asked Jen to marry him. With the most wonderful of friends helping along with the surprise, the question was popped, and her answer was prompt. "Yes!” One surprise led to another and an Irish themed party with friends and family ensued. A day we will never forget that only went so smoothly because of the help of everyone. Now we are here! Ready for our wedding and a life of love, laughs and traveling.
We are working toward living a simple life serving Jehovah in every way possible and continuing to regular pioneer together. We plan to start marriage right into a need greater trip to Ireland for a few months. During those months in Ireland, we will be helping a Hall in Bantry. We will be living off of our saving and possibly an online teaching job. When we return back to the states, we will start saving up again so we can buy a camper to live in. Living that kind of lifestyle will allow us to reach our goals and serve Jehovah fully. Our goals are Bethel, LDC, SKE, need greater work and whatever comes our way as we will be filling out all applications to see where it takes us. “Reaching out, giving all, and where the need is great, there we’ll be reaching out in love.”
A BIG thank you to all those who were involved in helping with everything that led up to the wedding day. We couldn’t have done it without you and all the loving support shown by many. WE LOVE YOU & WILL NEVER FORGET ALL YOU HAVE DONE!
