Our Wedding Ceremony

We met at Amidon-Bowen Elementary School in Washington DC. We were drawn to each other and immediately connected over our love of children, family, and education. LeeVon helped me get acclimated with being in a new school district. We coached students together, chaperoned trips together, and even worked the after-school program together! He asked me out on a date to Rosa Mexicana and we are now 8-years in. LeeVon says "Black Coffee, No Sugar no Cream, that's the type of girl I need down on my team", and I say "AC met DC" and the rest is history!
