Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dresses. We want everyone to feel their best as we celebrate this special day together! But, make sure to bring your dancing shoes!!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity and planning considerations, we kindly ask that only the guests listed on your RSVP attend or if your RSVP includes a plus-one. We truly wish we could include everyone, but we hope you understand and respect our wishes as we keep things intimate and organized.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Unless specified on your RSVP, we kindly ask that you leave the little ones at home to help create an adult-focused atmosphere. We want you all to let loose and have a fun night out. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

On one of the tabs above, we have a link to our honeymoon fund. Since we have been together for over a decade and have a home together, we are kindly asking for contributions to our honeymoon. Material things are great, but the real gift is making memories together!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Absolutely! Our venue offers its own personal parking lot as well as public parking outside of its designated parking area.

Question

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Our beautiful venue, The Black Pearl on the Columbia, is all indoors. With a top and bottom level there is plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable inside on a chilly November day. Weather permitting, there is an outside patio and balcony our guests can use to get some fresh air.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

During our ceremony, we ask that all phones and cameras be put away. We have a very talented photographer to capture every moment for us and we are happy to share those with you! We want you to be present with us while we commit to one another and we don't want you to experience it through a screen. At the reception though, we would love for you to capture those memories and encourage you to take photos and videos then!
