We're getting married!!!

We met signing our scholarships for GCC Track & Field! We both said our friendly exchanges and how we were excited for the season, afterwards both of us going to friends saying how we were excited to have a cute teammate! Bridesmaid Liana and Co-Bestman Jadyn can attest to that! Our friendship grew through school and the season, and we started dating in March 2020 just before the dreadful COVID, and here we are! Fun Fact: There is a video of us throwing at a track meet in our Senior years, I'm throwing disc in the background of Alex throwing shot put! About 6 months before we officially met!

We were blessed to have been in Kaua'i, Hawaii, where my amazing cousin Tiffany Friend was able to help Alex design the ring and upon our arrival from the airport, her mom Karen Friend snuck it to him! (Very sneaky if I might add, lol) On our second day, we decided to do a kayak/hike to Secret Falls. The kayak was about 1/2 a mile with a mile hike to follow! The chickens were keeping us company the whole time. Karen was with us and was able to capture the moment for us. Alex said we were going to take some pictures in front of the waterfall and we were sitting on a big rock and then he pulled out my big rock!!! Man was I surprised, he had it in his fanny pack the whole time! I quickly said yes and we put the ring back away for safe keeping while we took a dip in the water! An incredible and unforgettable moment, that we will forever cherish.
