Things To Do
We are so excited to share one of our favorite places with you! If you are looking for somethings to do in the area here are a few of our suggestions!
- Hike into Moxie Falls. This is a beautiful waterfall that is close to the center of town. The hike in is short and on a very well maintained path. If you have never been it will not disappoint.
White water Rafting - If you plan on coming up the day before or staying the day after take a trip down the mighty kennebec river. There are several rafting companies in the area to choose from that offer day trips.
Tubing - For those of you who are not up to whitewater rafting, tubing is a great option. Nothing says relaxing summer day like a float down the lower kennebec river. Several companies offer tubing trips daily too.
Northern Outdoors Brewery - So nature may no be your thing but you love craft beer. Northern Outdoors has its own brewery located in the forks and it is definitely worth a trip.
