we are getting married!!

2013- The love story of Will and Kendra begins Online conversing, flirting, joking, and late night phone calls led to dating. Yes, you heard us right! We started online but trust us, it was nothing creepy and we both lived to tell this story. 2014- Elegance and Growth Creating memories, exploring new restaurants, traveling, learning how to make each other smile, advancing professionally, and growing closer in the discovery of love Even then, we discussed what our lives would look like together in the future. 2015- The Halt Kendra’s perspective: I relocated near Houston, TX for a professional opportunity I could not pass up. Maintaining a long distance relationship became a challenge & “Will was tripping and got on my nerves” Will’s perspective: Kendra relocated to Houston for an opportunity involving her new career path. It was a difficult adjustment not being able to pursue her as often as before. I tried to make it work by driving to be with her as often as I could. I EVEN transferred my employment and moved to Houston but “Kendra was tripping and got on my nerves” 2018 -Love Became Full Circle Love has a way of finding its way back. That’s exactly what happened in the story of Will & Kendra, love was to be. Words cannot express how blessed we are to have one another through the rain and the storms endured. We are looking forward to saying for the first time ever "I do" and building a family as Mr. and Mrs. Smith. #SmithLoveandElegance

Will thinks I am short for some reason although I am average height for a woman. However, Will hid my engagement ring in the house on top of the kitchen cabinets. I could see it haha! We talked about marriage before the proposal but it was so surreal when I seen that Zales bag just glaring at me. Every time we traveled or went somewhere romantic, I would just anticipate a proposal. I would lowkey be a little salty every time the night would end without a proposal. I gave up. We went to Cabo San Lucas on a family trip and while my sister was taking our picture he pulled the ring out! Ekkkk. Because we are both private individuals, we then went back to our hotel and he did a private proposal on one knee with all the sweet words he wanted to express to me.

There are so many people who have inspired me. Dr. Princess Jackson was a very close friend and mentor. October 19th is her birthday. She would have been elated to come to the wedding. This woman prayed and rooted for me daily! #phenomenalwoman #rememberingalegacy
