Please RSVP by October 1st so we can plan accordingly and include you in our special day.
The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be under a tent. In the case of poor weather, both will be held indoors.
Yes, we would love to celebrate with you and your children! If your children are very young, we ask that you bring age-appropriate entertainment for them, as we will not be providing any.
We are aware of a few dietary restrictions, such as gluten, dairy, garlic, and citrus. I have made some customizations to the menu as an attempt to include everyone. If you have specific questions or additional dietary restrictions, please contact us. We'll try our hardest to make accommodations, but no promises, as we are working with a limited budget.
Our wedding will be semi-formal/cocktail attire. Our theme is going to feel like an English tea or garden party. The time of year will be mid-October, so a dress or skirt for my ladies and a button-down with slacks for the men. Feel free to dress up if you wish!
HEAVY hors d'oeuvres. Common tea foods: sandwiches, charcuterie, dips, mini desserts, and many kinds of tea. No catered meal will be served. Food will be done buffet style.
If the invitation is addressed to an entire family, everyone in that household is more than welcome. If the invitation is addressed to an individual, and no plus one is specified, please respect our wishes to have a small and intimate ceremony by not bringing additional guests.
We ask that guests please arrive 20-30 minutes before the ceremony begins. This leaves time to find your seat, greet family and friends, and enjoy the ambiance before the ceremony. If you are late, please avoid rushing to find a seat right at 2pm as this will distract from the Bride and Grooms moment at the isle.
Being completely transparent, I don't want to micromanage what colors you can't wear. There is no set color scheme for the day, but the venue features a lot of natural greenery, red brick, wood, and white throughout.
Long story short, no. We will be moving to Maryland right after the wedding and then to Delaware early next year, so we are trying to limit the number of 'things' and trips we have to make. If you do feel inclined to support us in this new chapter of life, we ask that you reach out to the couple directly for gift ideas or give cash.
