We have been acquainted since high school, but never really had a relationship of any sort until August of 2023. We happened to be in the same friend group at Bobby’s Place where we decided to play beer pong. Kendra asked Nick to fill in for her partner who was taking too long. When the music got louder, Nick started dancing. He shook his butt at Kendra and she knew in that moment that he would be a part of her life. After what we thought was one night of fun, it turned into finding our forever person.

Less than two years after we met, we traveled to Niagara Falls in Canada with Lisa and Kyle. Nick was working in Edwardsville, Illinois where he saw a billboard for a jewelry store. On his way to work one morning, he texted Lisa and asked her to go ring shopping with him. Shortly after, he suggested the idea of proposing on our trip less than two weeks later. Lisa loved the idea. On the way to Niagara Falls, we stopped to eat at Culver’s in a random city where Nick asked Kyle for permission to have Kendra’s hand in marriage. Needless to say, Kyle approved. The first night we were there, July 24, 2025, we went to watch the firework show over the Falls where Nick asked Kendra to be his forever.
