It all started in November of 2023, not in some coffee shop or through mutual friends, but in probably the least romantic place possible, a horror game called Lethal Company. At first, we were just friends who happened to team up online, laughing our way through jump scares and chaos with other players. But by spring of 2024, our chats started lasting longer, the laughter came easier, and somewhere along the way, friendship started to turn into something more. We officially started dating on July 14, 2024, even though we were still long distance. A few weeks later, we finally met in person for the first time during a weeklong trip to Myrtle Beach, and it felt completely natural, like we had known each other for years. That fall, we took our first big trip together to Finland for ten days. Between visiting his family and spending real time together, we realized we didn’t want to keep doing long distance anymore. So, on December 28, 2024 we took the leap and moved in together. For our one year anniversary we went to Hawaii in July 2025, and on July 12th, Nathan proposed on the balcony of our Airbnb. I, of course, said yes ❤︎ Now, we’re counting down the days until June 18, 2026, when we get to say “I do” surrounded by the people we love most, and start our next adventure ❤︎ Together, Forever
