We met during our last semester as undergrads at CU Boulder despite having many classes together before then. When we both had a syntax class in 2015, Matt may or may not have had a crush on Kendra, though she didn't notice him until spring of 2017. We both majored in Linguistics and Japanese, and we started hanging out in a friend group with those mutual interests. As Spring Break approached, Kendra got her crush on Matt, and messaged him on Facebook. The rest flowed from there! We quickly discovered how much we have in common - music, movies, TV, and more, while each bringing our own unique vibes and interests to the mix. Our 9 years together have been filled with silliness and love!
