If you ask Kendra she'd say it started back in 5th grade when she noticed how cute Lindsey (the super cool 8th grader who was always with her friend's older brothers) was. If you ask Lindsey he'll tell you it was the summer of 2015 when he saw a group of girls having drinks and asked his friend "who's Jo's cute friend? Is she from the city?" From there it was a series of homework dates and "going dutch" on coffee before the two finally acknowledged their undeniable connection and started dating.

To celebrate their third anniversary Lindsey planned a romantic get away to the Timber Cove Resort. After check in Lindsey asked Kendra if she wanted to go exploring. It was a rare beautiful day and as we strolled around the bluffs (shortly after Lindsey discouraged Kendra from climbing down a cliff to get to a really cool beach) until we came to a little bench with a beautiful view of the ocean. Lindsey surpassed all of Kendra's expectations about what a proposal should be like with his sweet, heartfelt words and promises for the future and then (to Kendra's surprise) Lindsey got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. After thoroughly making sure that it wasn't a practical joke and he actually did want to marry her Kendra agreed and we spent a blissful weekend enjoying each other's company and adventuring around the coast.
