Kaniya is my greatest blessing and gift. I thank God everyday for choosing me to be her mother. Kaniya is funny, smart, talented, kind hearted, supportive and beautiful inside and out. Kaniya brings fun, joy and most importantly unconditional love to our family. Her laughter and humor are contagious and her and Kiki are two peas in a pod. They annoy me sometimes but I absolutely adore their relationship and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Kaniya’s favorite phrase about Kendra and Kiki’s Union is, “If it wasn’t for me, y’all wouldn’t be together.” All is fair in Love and Basketball right! I love you to the moon and back. -Mommy

God tends to bring specific people in your life. Some are temporary others are a lifetime. When I first met Ness in 2015 it was an instant connection. A key factor in our connection was God and of course basketball. Ness is loving, accepting, understanding, and a light that never dims. I am so glad God sent me a sister that related to me on many different levels. Ness has a way of communicating with you aka fussing you out, but you felt the love overpowering her words.
