Yes! Transportation is provided from Downtown Charleston to Lowndes Grove (our ceremony + reception site). The pick up and drop off location is the Francis Marion Hotel on Marion Square. The buses will leave at 4 pm.
Black - Tie Optional. Floor length gowns or formal cocktail dresses for women. Tuxes or suit + tie for men.
Charleston International Airport (CHS) is the closest airport. It is a 10-15 minute drive to Downtown Charleston from CHS. The next closest airport is Savannah International Airport, which is about a 2 hour drive to Downtown Charleston.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening.
Downtown Charleston is extremely walkable and Ubers are very affordable compared to other cities. If you are staying Downtown and are comfortable walking and using Uber or Lyft, you probably do not need to rent a car. If you are wishing to explore areas outside of downtown, we would recommend renting a car.
