FAQs

If you have any other questions other than what we've laid out here, please ask your point of contact. For his family, Sylvia Chapman. My Family, Annette Remington. Friends feel free to reach out to Chyla Dyer, Or Fontella or myself.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 8/13/2025. You are encouraged and welcomed to RSVP before this date. If we do not get a response back, I will assume you are unable to make it and count you as a no.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation includes a reserved seat or has a guest by name, then yes! If not, we prefer just you to attend. Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Since we have huge extended families, we've chosen to limit our guest list and we cannot accommodate children, please note that invitations are limited to those listed on your invitation/RSVP as seats reserved or named directly.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place in a beautiful secret garden outdoors, with seating in the garden itself. However, the reception will be held in the Palm House on property, which provides a charming, intimate setting for our celebration. The seating for the garden are smaller chairs, so please plan accordingly. In case of any unexpected rain, clear umbrellas will be available, and we'll also provide bug spray to ensure everyone's comfort.

Question

Whats the dress code?

Answer

Formal Secret Garden vibes. We're aiming for that "dressed up but still comfortable" sweet spot! Our wedding party will be wearing berry, dusty pink, rust and olive green, so we kindly ask guests to steer clear of those shades to help them stand out in photos. We kindly ask that you avoid jeans, shorts and sneakers. Ladies the ceremony will have a brick paved walkway so be mindful with heels.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, but don't worry! You'll have a moment to snap a photo before being asked to put your phones away and be fully present with us and to let the photographer capture the moment.
