Lexi and Kendra first met at the Drexel University Dance/Movement Therapy Audition and quickly became close friends through their Master's program and spent many hours studying and laughing together. Kendra and Lexi have found a joint passion for PureBarre and enjoy taking class 4-6x/week together at their local studio and love spending time together talking outside the studio after class no matter what the weather is that day. They continue to share a love of their fur babies as cat moms to Kendra and E's cat Juniper Bean and Lexi and Andrew's cats Louie and Olive.
Matron of Honor
Taylor and Kendra first met at Eastern University Dance Program audition in 2010 and began their undergraduate journey together during the Ballet portion of auditions where they were placed at the center barre together and quickly bonded over the fact that ballet was neither of their preferred genres...yet somehow they ended up in the center of the room together faking it 'til they made it! They have continued to be best friends for the past 14 years and share a love of being silly, watching good shows, and passion for dance education at Jasmin Yahné School of Dance together.
Bridesmaid
Jordyn and Kendra met while attending Drexel University's Dance/Movement Therapy Master's program and have continued a close friendship for the past 8 years with many sleepovers, Jordyn-Ken days, rewatching favorite movies, and binge watching shows together. Jordyn is Kendra's favorite food buddy and they have found a love of trying new restaurants or returning to local faves and always split two meals for a taste of the top 2 meal options when neither of them can decide what to eat.
Bridesmaid
Ja'Nae and Kendra became friends while attending Drexel University's Dance/Movement Therapy Master's program and bonded over a love of nature, tacos, and margaritas. Ja'Nae and Kendra began going on Nature Walks together exploring different trails in the area and usually followed them up by getting some tasty food after.
Bridesmaid
Mallory and Kendra first met at Drexel's Dance/Movement Therapy Audition and quickly bonded over a love of quality time with friends, pop rock/skater music from the 2000s, cuddles, and have only continued to grow closer during the Master's program and after. A true bonding experience was being quarantine buddies through the pandemic and isolating together taking turns at each of our apartments throughout the shutdown.
Groom
Best Man
Jonathan is Emmanuel's oldest nephew and one of E's best buds! He helped raise Jonny and enjoys giving Jonny rides to and from Penn State where Jonny currently attends school. Emmanuel had a large part to play in Jonny's interest in all things soccer...Chelsea FC, playing soccer, and FIFA.
Groomswoman
Nancy is E's go to person for advice and someone that gets him. Nancy is E's older sister from the same mister LOL. Nancy is the woman that E compares all other women to when it came to dating and choosing a future wife...safe to say Kendra passed the test! Her resiliency and strength are qualities Emmanuel has always admired. Look for Nancy on the dance floor!
Groomsman
Daniel is Emmanuel's big brother and mentor. Emmanuel has always looked up to Daniel and the man he has become and he's learned many life lessons throughout his time growing up with Daniel. The two were raised in the same household with the same morals, but certainly have different personalities each with their own fun flare.
Groomsman
B is E's brother from another mother, and Kendra's true brother. Brandon has been a ball of joy and brings so much laughter to Emmanuel's life. Brandon is the younger brother E has always wanted. Brandon helped build a brand for E's car rental business using his graphic design expertise and creativity.
Groomsman
Benoit is E's childhood best friend. They first met at Maplewood Middle School and were inseparable. E would spend every Friday evening after school at the Benoit household playing FIFA and hanging out. The two often spent their weekends kicking their soccer ball at their local field, and when Chris' dad Gary started a youth team, the 2 became teammates. This played a pivotal role in Emmanuel's life, because had it not been for the Benoit family and a series of events that followed, Emmanuel may not be where he is today.
