We had a reunion with 13 of our closest friends planned in Redlodge, MT at a friend's condo. On June 12th, 2020, we all crammed into two cars for a drive up Beartooth Pass. We stopped on the Wyoming side with a beautiful, snow-covered back drop. Everyone suggested we start taking pictures. Now, if you know our friend group at all, you know that we are not the group that takes pictures often - or at all for that matter. So, this raised a red flag for me that I quickly shrugged off and was thankful that we would have some more photos as a group. After several group photos, someone suggested that all of the couples take pictures. A friend was organizing and calling couples up to the backdrop, and he "just-so-happened" to call Drew and I up last. As Drew and I posed for a picture, through the corner of my eye I saw Drew drop down on one knee. My jaw dropped! Then, knowing how much Drew likes to joke around, I immediately jumped to the conclusion that this was just a little prank Drew was pulling on me. As he fumbled around in his coat pocket for the ring, I thought "Ok Drew, nice touch you jokester!" Then as he pulled out the ring, my jaw dropped again. Drew spoke of our love and asked if I would like to spend the rest of our lives together. My hand clapped over my mouth and I uttered "is this for real?!" With the diamond ring in front of me, Drew replied "Yep, pretty real!" I said yes and we celebrated with some of our closest friends for the rest of our unforgettable weekend.
