Question

Wedding Attire?

Answer

Please dress semi-formal or formal (basically “better than blue jeans”) in an “Autumn” color palette. Refer to the colors above as some example swatches of our color scheme. Other Autumn colors not shown in the above examples are also acceptable!

Question

Where will the reception and ceremony be?

Answer

Both the reception and the ceremony will be conducted at Sanctuary Events in downtown Plainfield. Both the ceremony and the reception will be held indoors so weather considerations are limited.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We absolutely love children, but due to the size of the venue we are unable to accommodate children unless they are named on your invitation. Please take this as an opportunity to enjoy a date night at our party :)

Question

What food will be provided?

Answer

Sanctuary Events is adjacent to Sovereign, a farm-to-fork restaurant and bar. Sovereign will be serving their classic Wiccan Chicken entree in a buffet-style serve yourself arrangement. *Note: Those with severe allergies will have plates specially designed with their allergy in mind. Please contact Kendra and include the specific allergy needs on your RSVP.

Question

May I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are blessed to celebrate with each and every one of you, but again, due to the size of our venue, please stick to the RSVP list on your invitation.

Question

Why is the address listed as a parking lot not at the venue?

Answer

Parking is not on site. However, Sanctuary Events has a shuttle bus service that will bring all guests from their vehicles to the venue. Guests are also permitted to walk the .4 mile if they would like. Please arrive early to be shuttled and seated before the ceremony begins.
