Thank you all for celebrating our wedding ceremony whether you were near or far! It was a beautiful day, but was bittersweet that more of our loved ones could not be there for all the hugs and celebration! We have decided on a new date to celebrate our marriage and hopefully can function as a "send off" party for our honeymoon! We miss you all so much! Lots of love! -Kendra
It was my sophomore year of high school , Lane's freshman year, and it was about time for the Sophomore Spring Dance. As I was always more interested in athletics than boys, I spent my time after school weightlifting with a few girls and a whole bunch of boys, Lane included. Alphabetically, as I'm sure you could tell, we were lined up next to each other often, yet I only knew his first name. As the dance approached and I had no date lined up, I was talking with a good friend, Mason, about what guy I should ask, it randomly came to my mind and I blurted, "How about Lane?" Yes, Lane, the freshman who stood in front of me at weightlifting and I didn't even know his last name... When the day of the dance came, it felt like I had known Lane my entire life, yet I'd never had a full conversation with him. After the dance, our lives went on separately, until I needed a math tutor during my junior year, and Lane was the right answer, pun intended. Through weightlifting, I reconnected with Lane and my math tutor became my boyfriend and so on and so forth and here we are now! Through these past years, Lane and I would like to extend our gratitude to all those who have supported us and shown us the real definition of true love. We hope you can all make it to join us in the celebration of our love journey!
