Kendell transferred to South Newton High School for his junior and senior year. Him and Delaney met and became great friends through parties, school events, and being on the FFA officer team.

After a hiatus and spending a few years apart we began to reconnect through "quarterly updates," where we Facetimed every 3 months, keeping in touch as friends. Finally, in May 2025, Delaney came to Kendell's for a bonfire. To both of our surprise, we both left that evening with huge grins on our faces that we just couldn't shake...

We began dating in June of 2025 and our love grew stronger every day. In March of 2026 Kendell got down on one knee and proposed at Barristers' Ball, IU Maurer's formal dance. She said YES!
