It's happening!

We both were taking a class about playing string instruments, but rarely interacted with each other (minus the quick glances in each other's direction). After weeks of secret crushes, he invited her to his senior recital. From there, the talking became frequent until, finally, our first date was set!

The proposal was an unforgettable one. It was on our trip to the Grand Canyon, which also happened to be our first camping trip together. Before the sun rose on the second morning of our stay, we drove to Mather Point on the rim (after Becca managed to slam her ring finger in the car door). As the sun rose over the rim, David got on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage, with a ring pop (as the real ring was safe in Albuquerque with her father).
