Getting to Estoi
You can fly into Lisbon or fly into Faro. If you fly into Lisbon, you can rent a car or hire a transport to get you to the hotel/ algarve. Additionally there is a train that will take you from Lisbon to Faro and you can take an Uber/Taxi from Faro (either train station or airport) to your accomodations. You can rent a car to go visit all Algarve has to offer or you can make faro your main desination and uber places. They drive on the right side of the road so you are safe plus they offer automatic cars so you do not have to deal with a manual. Also you do not need to get an international drivers license.

Activities
If you fly into Lisbon- you can always explore Lisbon. If you decide to rent a car and drive you can explore the coast along the way. You could hit up Sintra on the way, or Nazare to see the largest waves in the world. Christmas markets in Algarve Around this time of year there are many Christmas markets in Algarve. One that is especially well known is the Loule Christmas Market in Loule— includes an ice rink, a high-rope tree-climbing circuit, street entertainment, and numerous stalls selling traditional Portuguese Christmas goods. Location: Old Carnival warehouse building next to the Santo António Convent in Loulé. Visit Winery’s: some of the one I liked are: Quinta dos Vales— Walk in- No reservations required- Try the Touriga Nacional Licoroso! It’s amazing. Location: Quinta dos Vales, Sítio dos Vales, Caixa Postal 112, 8400-031 Estombar, Lagoa, Algarve, Portugal Quinta Do Frances Winery Boat tour to see Bengali Cave— Tours depart from various nearby locations like Portimão, Lagos, and Albufeira See the beautiful landscape like The Ponta da Piedade, Lagos or go on the Cliff Trail to Praia do Camilo in Lagos. Hike The Seven Hanging Valleys Trail Stroll across dunes at Pontal da Carrapateira Hike the Carvoeiro Boardwalk and go eat at Boneca Bar after cliff jumping at Algar Seco Visit Monchique Thermal Spa with natural hot springs Do an olive oil tasting near Faro Take a boat ride to Parque Natural da Ria Formosa and see the southern most point and visit some secluded beaches and islands There are tons of beaches in Algarve. You can see the anchor graveyard at Praia do Barril.
