Straight out of a London postcard, you can't miss Double D's while strolling through downtown Asheville. Housed in a vintage red double-decker bus, stop by for a delicious coffee, tea, or pastry - note that payment is cash only.
French Broad Chocolate Lounge
This is one of Kendall's favorite dessert spots in Asheville! If you like chocolate, don't pass up French Broad. We recommend the seasonal chocolate mousse, the creme brûlée, the brownie, and the Quintessential Chocolate Cake, but you really can't go wrong.
Sunny Point Cafe
One of the Bard family's favorite breakfast spots, Sunny Point Cafe is a family-owned restaurant that offers delicious farm fresh meals. Check out their attached garden where they source much of their produce for the menu, as well as their sister bakery, Rabbit Hole, for yummy pastries and treats.
Early Girl Eatery
Early Girl is a great option for breakfast that specializes in farm to table food! There are a few locations in Asheville; the one listed here is in downtown.
Biltmore Estate
We would be remiss to not include the iconic Biltmore Estate on our recommendation list! This historic mansion built by George Vanderbilt is not just a house, but an 8,000 acre estate that includes miles of hiking trails, stunning gardens and greenhouse, and a winery.

Experience the essence of Spain in downtown Asheville! Cúrate offers traditional Spanish tapas in a warm and lively atmosphere with an open kitchen. Reservations highly recommended.
