Sedona is about 30 minutes from Cottonwood and one of the most beautiful places in the world (we are a little biased)! Sedona is the perfect place to get in a quick day hike, grab a scenic lunch, and enjoy the best parts of Northern Arizona. Some hikes we recommend: Easy: Bell Rock Trail - 0.8 miles Beautiful red rock views and great bang for your buck Medium: Brins Mesa - 4.1 miles 360 views at the end, one of our favorite hikes in Sedona Hard: Cathedral Rock - 1.1 miles The most popular hike in Sedona! A free shuttle is required to access the trailhead. Short and steep Feel free to reach out to us for any other Sedona suggestions, we are full of them!
Jerome is an old mining town up in the mountains of Northern Arizona with lots to explore! There are cute wineries and restaurants up on the hill with great views of the valley, inactive mines to tour, and quaint stores to spend time in.
The South Rim of the Grand Canyon is about 2.5 hours from Cottonwood. Worth it if you are willing to make the drive!

A beautiful tasting room for a local winery with delicious food. Right in downtown Cottonwood.
