We’re getting married!

It was a not-so-normal hot summer Sunday. Simone` and Kendall were both bored out of their minds quarantining. Fortunately, they both had Facebook... Kendall had created a profile on the Facebook dating app waiting to meet someone special. Luckily, that day finally came. Simone`, with nothing to do but act on the impulse to get on Facebook dating after declaring 2020 was not her year of dating, decided "why not?" Simone` created her profile and begrudgingly answered all the questions and added her "about me" info. As the likes came in, the annoyance of online dating soon accompanied her as she clicked on X after X. Kendall wasn't two swipes in before he came across Simone's profile. His initial thought was "oh wow, she's pretty...and that's an interesting choice of hair color" (Simone` had teal braids at the time, which looked great by the way!) Kendall hoped "well, let's see if she likes me back, no pressure". Kendall clicked the green check mark. Simone` came across Kendall's "like" and checked out his profile. She liked that he mentioned God in his interests and decided to like him back! As boredom transformed into excitement, Kendall knew he had to make the first move. He led with a line no one can resist "Let's play a game". He continued, "How about you give me two truths and a lie about yourself, I have to guess the lie, then I'll do the same!" Smooth. From there, they hit it off as if they knew each other for ages! Their similarities and faith played a huge role in developing feelings for each other. It only took them a little under two weeks to go on their unforgettably romantic first date, and the rest is history! Love is so unpredictable; even in a pandemic, It can be found.
