What to wear?

Garden Casual/Semi Casual This is an outdoor wedding and reception. Weather will be clear, high of 73 at 6pm and cooling to a brisk 51 degrees! It will be cool at night! Men: khaki shorts, khakis, nice jeans (no holes), polo, button up, boots, flip flop, dress shoes, cowboy boots, loafers. Women: Sundress, skirt, dress, dress pant, nice jeans (no holes), romper, block heels, sandals, flats, flip-flops, wedges, tennis, cowboy boots. The grounds are uneven and may be wet. High heels and stilettos are not recommended. No athletic wear. PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WEATHER IN EMPORIA, VA. Dress accordingly! Feel free to bring a shawl/cardigan/sweater/blanket. Make a right at stop light onto Lowground Road Travel 4 miles Allen Family Farm will be located on the right. We will have people directing you where to park. Please stay within parking area there will be ditches and wet areas.

Please feel free to grab a cocktail at your arrival to the Allen Family Farm! We will have golfing games set up, feel free to bring a putter and driver! We will also provide a putter and driver to use. A Coffee Bar will be available. Beer Truck with Shock Top, Michelob Ultra and Coors Light Wine Red Blend, Pino Grigio, Champagne Bourbon, Vodka, Rum, Gin and Tequila with chasers provided Sweet-tea, water, lemonade, and soft drinks will be provided.

Dinner will be served via Food Truck (Taco's, Sliders & Wraps). We will have heavy Hor d'oeurvres. No assigned seating, eat as you get hungry. Eat, Drink and be Married!!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Between 5 and 5:40 We will have someone parking cars, please park close to the vehicle beside you to provide room for everyone. Feel free to mingle have a beverage and play any games on arrival. Please scan the QR code and help build wedding photos for everyone to share!!
