I first saw Scott when I signed up for a gym membership at LA Fitness (I know, how romantic). We both agree now that it was love at first sight. We stared at each other for eight months..EIGHT MONTHS before talking! Scott immediately became my gym boyfriend (in my head, obviously). I talked to everyone about him, my family, my friends, my co-workers, and anyone that would listen really; everyone knew him. I thought Scott was the most beautiful man I had ever seen, which caught my attention, but the way he carried himself is what kept my attention. He had a charisma and natural way of talking to others. I would break up with him (in my head, temporarily) if we walked past each other and it felt like he didn't even notice me. MAN, was I wrong. Scott will tell you that he sure DID notice me. He's told me that he attempted to compliment my shoes, but he couldn't get my attention. All his gym buddies kept telling him to come talk to me, but Scott didn't want to break rule no. 1 of the gym and hit on a girl, so he said that if he ever met me out he would pull the trigger. That opportunity came probably sooner than he thought. September 8th, 2017 at Fall on the Green the stars aligned. I was out with a co-worker after the passing of a very special patient and Scott says now that this patient was responsible for getting us together (so sweet I could cry). I spotted him the MOMENT we walked in and he basically did the same. Lots of nerves, beers, and pushy friends later...my gym boyfriend talked to me. "You work out at LA Fitness, don't you?". What a pick up line, I KNOW! After a little cat and mouse, Scott finally asked for my number and I was elated. After that, we headed to Deja, I bought 11 shots for all his friends (shocker) and then I don't remember much after that (gimme a break, I was grieving). I woke up, fully clothed with my gym boyfriend next to me. We talked all day (8 hours) before I had to leave for work and that was when I knew he was it. My forever.
