Guests Start to Arrive

2:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Please plan ahead for a short walk from your car (neighborhood street parking and nearby additional open areas for extra vehicles) and arrive early so we can stay on schedule and all goes off without a hitch (well…there will definitely be ONE hitch…but we’d like to keep it at that)! Ben Hauth, our officiant and master of ceremonies, can only be with us for an hour, and Aaron Hoskins, our photographer, will join us for 3 hours. We have A LOT planned and want to make sure we can enjoy our time together with you all!

Intimate Wedding Ceremony and Reception to Follow

2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Technically we’re requesting “Semi-Formal” or “Smart Casual” attire: dressy, but not overly formal (no tuxedos- unless you’re really set on it!) and polished but somewhat relaxed. We want you to be comfortable in what you’re wearing for a few hours, but still look like you could mingle with the VIPs while also enjoying some soft tacos and cutting it up with us on the improvised dance floor.

Probably best to steer clear of stiletto heels or other footwear that may damage the turf in the yard. Both the ceremony and reception will be held outside, so please bring sunscreen, hats, shawls, pashminas, or even parasols to shield you from the sunlight if needed. There will be access to some shaded areas as well.

Ceremony

2:30 pm - 3:00 pm

Our Officiant and Master of Ceremonies is Ben Hauth from Better Together Matrimonies. We would like you all to participate in our ceremony with us and you will be given directions when you arrive 🥰.

Family Formal and Wedding Party Photos, Guests Mingle!

3:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Aaron Hoskins of The Hoskins will be capturing our celebration. He is a Phoenix-based wedding photographer that specializes in documentary-style storytelling with a polished, editorial feel. Reception- Food and Frivolities!

3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

A catered buffet-style late lunch will be served after the ceremony and formal photographs have been taken, and some alcohol will be available as well. If you have a particular adult beverage you would like to responsibly enjoy feel to bring it along!

We will sneak away with our photographer, Aaron Hoskins, to capture some private moments as the sun sets.

If you’re able, please help our gracious hosts clean up the scene of the crime! They were very kind to offer their backyard to be the setting for our union and have done so much! I’m guessing they’re exhausted and would love assistance with gathering decorations, collecting tables and chairs, and packing up the leftovers. Thank you all and we love you!
