Olivia and Kendall met when they were roommates as freshman in college. They quickly became besties and have made so many memories living together over the past four years. Olivia is an empathetic friend, a good listener, and an amazing example of following the Lord's calling for her life. Kendall is so excited that they'll be able to stand next to each other on her wedding day.


Eli Wooten

Best Man

Eli and Michael went to high school together, but really met each other at Ohio State. It was through their involvement in Cru that they got to become best friends. Despite only knowing each other for three years, it feels as if they've been lifelong friends. Eli's vibrant personality lights up any room, his infectious laughter bringing joy to those around him. Those closest to him know Eli as not only fun-loving and outgoing, but also incredibly thoughtful and caring. Michael is grateful to have Eli standing by his side as his best man.

Maddie and Kendall became friends in 2013 through summer theater and have been close ever since. Maddie is also married to Kendall's brother, Alex, making them sisters! She is a loyal and supportive friend, who is always there to give encouragement and advice. Kendall can't imagine her wedding day without Maddie!

Alex and Michael’s relationship began in high school around when Kendall and Michael started dating. Most of their time together early on was around family events and mutual friend hangouts. Over time Alex shifted from not only Kendall’s brother, but to Michael's friend. Despite spending most of their time after high school in different cities, the moments spent together are filled with laughter and joy. Alex is a deep thinker and a brilliant writer, but despite that is continually able to bring out the goofiest side of Kendall and Michael.

Kayla and Kendall met during freshman year of college when they were roommates and lived together throughout their time at Ohio State. Kayla is authentic and lighthearted, and she is often making people laugh. Anyone who knows her would say she is fun to be around, and Kendall is so glad to have a friend like her!


Alex Hettick

Alex and Michael met in the middle of the pandemic when they were placed as random roommates in 2020. While being stuck in the dorm that year, they shared time playing video games together, engaging in intense mini hockey games, and went on countless Taco Bell runs. Since then, Alex and Michael have continued to live together, but have become way more than roommates. Alex is a loyal friend and is genuinely one of the most interesting people Michael has ever had the privilege to know.

Megan and Kendall met in college through their involvement in Cru at Ohio State, and they are living together this year in Columbus. Megan is fun-loving, hardworking, and always makes the people in her life feel important and loved. She makes everything more fun, and Kendall is so pumped to celebrate with her in May!

Matt and Michael met when Matt took on the role of mentor to Michael through Cru at Ohio State. Matt has been a steadfast presence through every twist and turn, offering wisdom and guidance during both the highs and lows. Beyond investing his time in mentorship, Matt has generously shared his life with Michael. Over the past year, their relationship has evolved from not only mentorship but to a close friendship. Michael is grateful to have Matt by his side on his wedding day, a testament to the profound impact Matt has had on his life.

Carly and Kendall have known each other since kindergarten but became close friends around middle school. Carly is a talented artist and a loyal friend, and she has an enthusiasm for life that is contagious! She is one of Kendall's oldest friends, and Kendall is so excited to include her in the big day!


Tim Gerent

Tim and Michael met on a summer mission to Chicago in 2022. It was in that community where their friendship started. Their relationship grew through conversation over meals, cups of coffee, and time on UIC’s campus. In that short time in Chicago it became evident that this wasn’t just a connection in Chicago but the start of a new friendship. Despite the challenges of keeping up while being on different campuses, the opportunities they get to spend together remind Michael that Tim will always be a friend in his life.
