About dang time

As many of you know, our favorite thing to do together is boating! I spent time in the summers as a kid at the lake and max grew up spending time on the Ohio! We both have a strong love for the water! Max and I have spent a lot of time on the water together, catching all the sun rays we can get and making a ton of memories along the way! We were introduced to Green Turtle Bay and since then have continued to return every year for a week as our vacation! We make it to the lake every chance we get, our happy place to say the least! So, as planned, we took our yearly GTB trip! I packed everything under the sun, shoved it all into the truck, and made sure my nails looked good (cause you can’t go to the lake without your nails and toes done, duh!) & off we went! Saturday morning I had a little secret planned. All of us girls got matching bathing suits with our boyfriends/husbands faces on them. Apparently, Max had been a nervous wreck all day, but I had not a clue due to trying to plan out this bathing suit situation and also, not letting them see before we all got settled and tied up together! Once we all tied up, we reviled our suits! Max was really surprised (because who doesn’t want to propose to a girl in a bathing suit with your face all over it) and I was like BOOM got him! Well jokes on me because he had a much bigger surprise for me. Later that day, max wanted to take pictures on the front of the boat. He had placed a towel on the boat and asked me to wipe the nose of the boat down with it and after a few choice words, I picked it up and read it. Instantly fell into tears when I read “Will you be my forever co-captain?” With Max on one knee, tied up with all our friends, I said yes to forever! At our favorite place on earth, what could be more perfect than that!!
