We'd love to see our friends and family get dressed up with us. Our wedding will be a formal affair, and we are requesting guests to dress in formal attire. For men, this typically means a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie. For women, we invite you to wear a formal evening gown, a sophisticated cocktail dress, or an elegant jumpsuit or pant suit. We want everyone to feel stylish, comfortable, and confident, so please choose an outfit that makes you feel your best while celebrating with us! Please no Jeans, khakis or sundresses.
While we love your little ones, we are only able to accommodate adults for this event. Use this as a date night!
We are prioritizing spending our special day with our closest family and friends. We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, your invite will be made out to (Your Name) & Guest. Thank you for understanding!

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will not attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending" but find out you will no longer be able to attend, please notify Kendall (302-584-6202) or Levi (302-531-5845) as soon as you become aware.

Ceremony 3:00pm Cocktail Hour 3:30-4:30 Dinner & Reception 5:00-9:30pm
The ceremony will start PROMPTLY at 3:00pm. Please plan to arrive to Drumore between 2:30-2:45pm. If you arrive after the ceremony has begun, we will ask to enjoy the property until the ceremony has concluded.
Do not stress about parking. Drumore has a large, paved parking lot. It is plenty big enough for everyone who chooses to drive themselves.
You bet there is! We want everyone to enjoy the party. We will be serving 2 signature drinks, beer, wine, seltzers, & soft drinks
Although everyone can plan their night however best fits their needs, we want everyone to be safe and have a good time. There will be a provided shuttle bus taking guests and the wedding party from Drumore to the DoubleTree hotel at the conclusion of the reception. If you decide you do not feel fit to drive, you are able to leave your car at Drumore and retrieve it prior to 11:30am the following morning. Note, Drumore is in a rural area. It will be easier to catch an uber from a hotel to Drumore prior to the Ceremony than it will be to get an uber from Drumore after the reception. Please plan ahead!
We have a room block at the DoubleTree located 15 minutes from Drumore! Go to the link on the travel page or call and ask for the Smythe/Shell Wedding Block. There are many additional hotels a little further toward Lancaster that you are welcome to book independently. These are listed on the travel page.
We understand the weather is unpredictable in December. The plan is for the Ceremony, Cocktail hour and Reception all to be held indoors. If the weather is mild that time of year, we may be able to opt for a short outdoor ceremony. The grounds of Drumore are beautiful, and we highly recommend exploring them if weather permits. All walking paths are paved and maintained.
Yes! We'll continue the celebration at Mick's All American pub next to the DoubleTree. The shuttle can drop you off, or you can drive over after the reception. Stay as long or as little as you'd like.
