We met at the prison we both work at ERDCC in Bonne Terre. I was a control room officer when Kendall was still a CO-I before he promoted. The night we met, he walked in the control room and said "Who the hell are you, you're not my normal control room officer on dayshift." I looked at him and laughed. Everyday we would see each other coming out and going into the housing unit and we'd both say "What's up stalker?" Little did I know that he would be asking me out a few weeks later - which then I said no to. A couple months went by and without talking to each other, and both having a failed relationship, I got a message saying that he would be having a party and for me to come to it after work. That's the night that we both said "We are going to make this work - no more running." A year later we are engaged and planning our wedding. that's our story <3
