Krista Painchaud (aka Ponch)
Maid of Honor
Ponch and Kendall met during 3rd year of University at U of C. They were both transfer students and built a friendship based on equal distaste for a Kinesiology class they were enrolled in. The following year, Ponch moved in with Kendall (and her parents), and acquired her forever nickname. To celebrate the completion of their degrees, they travelled through Vietnam and Thailand together with Justin and another close friend, Trent. Following their Southeast Asia adventure they returned to Calgary and moved in with the next family members, Jordy and Cassie! Unfortunately they have been forced to be apart for the last 3 years as Ponch completed her Master's of Science Physical Therapy program in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has now graduated (yay Ponch!) and is working as a PT in Edinburgh.
Anais Holdaway

Anais is Kendall's sister-in-law, married to her oldest brother Joel. Anais officially joined the family in August 2016 and has committed herself to a lifetime of competitive ping pong games, terrible jokes, and interesting (as Justin likes to call it!) Holdaway traditions. Both Anais and Kendall grew up with brothers, so Kendall likes to think they found sisters in one another. Only a phone call away, Anais has always been there to provide Kendall with sisterly advice.
Carlee Edge

Carlee and Kendall originally met back in 2000 when Kendall joined the Cochrane Skating Club. As competitive figure skaters who spent several hours training together at the rink and gym, Carlee and Kendall quickly became attached at the hip and 24 hours apart seemed unbearable. Although their figure skating careers both ended in high school, they have remained best friends and frequently reflect on their "glory days".
Maggie Lawrence

As with Carlee, Maggie and Kendall also met through the Cochrane Skating Club; although, the Carlee + Kendall duo wasn't so sure about Maggie at first! Carlee and Kendall quickly converted Maggie into the Cochranite she is now. Their duo became a trio, and they spent any extra time they had between figure skating practices making up dances, songs, and even playing their recorders (thank you to the moms for being so patient!).
Matthew Cook
Best Man
Matt is one of Justin's younger brothers. He entered this world in 2000 and although Justin always wanted a sibling, he wasn't as happy when the day finally came, stating that Matt should be "put back" in the hospital! Soon after, Justin changed his mind and he and Matt have been best buds ever since!
Aidan Cook

Three years after Matt, Justin was blessed with yet another brother. Aidan was the mischievous sibling and always liked to keep things interesting, ensuring there was never a dull moment in the household!
Kendal Thome (aka Norm)
Groomsman
Norm and Justin's friendship started back in 1999 while attending Kindergarten together at Westbrook School. Fast-forward 15 years to 2014 to a time when Norm, Ty, and Justin were roommates. Norm then left to farm in Australia for a year, and is now living just outside of Cranbrook, B.C., but visits home frequently!
Tyson Deagle (aka Ty)
Groomsman
Ty and Justin's friendship also dates back to 1999 when attending Kindergarten together at Westbrook School. Ty, Norm, and Justin were roommates in 2014, and Ty also happily lived with Kendall and Justin for almost 2.5 years from 2018 to 2021. Ty is now living only a short 15-minute drive away, but spends the majority of his time working up north.
