The moment you’ve all be waiting for!

Kendall and Jordan met through a mutual group of friends at worship on the water front in Grand Haven in 2019. Many of the people know that Jordan was interested right away. On the other hand Kendall didn’t like Jordan at all. It took months before Kendall even acknowledged Jordan as part of the group. They would both say they became friends late October/ early November.

After being friends for a few months and multiple friends convincing Kendall that yes she was actually interested in him, they decided mutually to give it a shot. Jordan planned the perfect first date starting with dinner at Amore’s in Grand Rapids and watching “A Streetcar Named Desire” at the Grand Rapids Civic theater. They ended it by picking up Kendall’s parents at the airport.

Four amazing years later and here we are. Getting together through a pandemic, traveling to multiple states for different friends and finally deciding to spend their lives together. Even though Jordan was interested first, Kendall was the first to say I love you because she was scared she’d say it when she was half asleep. As a couple Kendall and Jordan love trying different places to eat, cooking together and hiking. Jordan loves to play disc golf and Kendall will just follow him on the path (She doesn’t like playing since she’s not good). Jordan proposed at Frederick Meijer’s Garden on January 27th during the orchid exhibit. Kendall had absolutely no clue and was so surprised she said “wait what. No. Shut up. How did you ask my dad?”. Needles to say she did say yes. Jordan and Kendall are so excited to take this next step in their relationship and are even more excited to see what God has in store for them.
