Reception Info
We are excited to invite you to a reception in celebration of our marriage on Saturday October 11, 2025! We are getting married in an intimate ceremony on Tuesday October 7th (which will be our 8th anniversary!) and then celebrating with all of our loved ones the following Saturday.
The reception will be held at Pigeon Creek Lodge, which is in Pigeon Creek County Park in West Olive, Michigan.
The celebration will include a short unity ceremony, lawn games, dinner, and a campfire with s'mores! Please note that Pigeon Creek Lodge is a dry venue.
2:30pm: Unity Ceremony
3:00pm: McGowen Backyard Bocce Bonanza
3:30pm: Lawn games + chips & queso & salsa
4:00pm: Dinner begins
5:00pm: Dessert comes out
7:00pm: S’mores at the campfire
8:30pm: Venue cleanup begins

Dressy casual—button-downs or polos with khakis/slacks, casual dresses, and blouses/sweaters with nice pants are all welcome. Activities will be outdoors on grass (weather permitting), so bring a jacket or cardigan if needed and wear comfortable shoes.
