Kendall & Jackson met on the first day of school at Texas State Technical College in Waco, TX. They lived in the same apartment complex and decided to go down to the clubhouse for the Meet & Greet. After a few games of washers, talking about their love for hunting, and finding out they cheered for the complete opposite teams in baseball and college football, Jackson asked for Kendall's number and the rest is history!

Jackson wanted to take Kendall out to a fancy dinner, which seemed like a normal date to her. After Jackson rushed Kendall to get ready, they were on their way to Cafe Blue when Jackson told Kendall they were going to stop by their property to check on Karson, Jackson's younger brother, while he was working on the boat. Kendall immediately got suspicious but didn't say anything and was along for the ride. Once they got to the property in Dripping Springs, Kendall realized Karson was actually there working on the boat and thought the proposal was not going to happen. They drove to the back of the property where they have deer blinds that are located across the creek. Jackson asked if Kendall wanted to go see them... In the moment, she thought he had to be kidding since she was in heels and a dress, but he took her across the creek and as he guided Kendall to be in front of him, he stopped and said, "Wait, I have something in my boot!" When Kendall turned around, Jackson was on one knee and asked Kendall to marry him. Of course, too shocked to answer, Kendall finally said yes as she jumped into his arms!
