The ceremony begins promptly at 5:30 pm. We recommend you aim to arrive by 5:00 pm and allow adequate travel time given Friday afternoon commuting traffic.
Complimentary parking is available at the Camp House parking lot only a short walk from the event. Enter at Gate 2 located at Lakeland Dr. and Garland Rd. and tell the attendant you are here for the wedding at the Camp House. If you Uber home after the reception, please be aware you must retrieve your car from the parking lot by Saturday morning by 8:00 am. The Arboretum may tow any cars that have not been picked up by 10:00 am on Saturday.
Our wedding will be an outdoor wedding. For footwear, please note the wedding ceremony is on a natural grass lawn; while the rest of the evening's events are on a paved patio, artificial turf lawn, or solid surface dance floor. The patio and lawn area are tented.
The Ceremony and Cocktail Hour are taking place in the gardens, however, the Reception is on the Camp House Lawn/Patio under a large tent and is protected from the elements. While we are hoping that the weather allows us to hold the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour in the gardens, they can be moved under the tent or inside the Camp House if required. No matter the weather, we are planning to have a wonderful celebration!
We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a black-tie optional dress code for our wedding.
We kindly ask that you avoid colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, and creams.
Although we love your children, this will be an adult only occasion. If your child is invited their names will be on the RSVP tab. We hope you take this opportunity to enjoy a date night, and we appreciate you making prior arrangements.
Unfortunately, because of the size of our venue we have not given out any blank plus ones. Those who are invited received an invitation.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking all phones and other devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony so that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want.
