We're getting married!

Kendall and I meeting was a direct act of God. I was going to the ABAC Talent Show to support my best friend, Aaron Harrell. Just by chance, Kendall was asked to participate in the talent show. Kendall sang “Alabaster Box” by CeCe Winans in the final round. She used this stage to witness to the entire crowd. She explained the meaning of the song, and what it meant to her. Her voice, and the message she delivered, was absolutely beautiful. From that moment I felt God telling me I needed to pursue Kendall. Thankfully, Aaron turned out to be a mutual friend.. I asked Aaron about Kendall, and he could not say one bad thing about her. It just so happened Kendall and I were in the same Statistics class. I made it a point to speak to Kendall after class, hoping I could make an impression on her. Things progressed, and we began to talk more and more. I finally asked Kendall on a date, just to be told no. After some convincing from her friends, she finally said yes. That date was by far the best date I had ever been on. That night I learned just how great of a person she is. It was one of those dates that you never wanted to end (which I tried to do, I got her home around 3:30 the next morning). Kendall is an answered prayer. She is the woman God hand-picked for me. I thank God every day for putting such a wonderful blessing in my life. The night I saw her at the talent show, I never thought I would be able to one day stand side by side, hand in hand with her and say “I do”, but I am so thankful that God put us together and I now will have that opportunity in the near future.
