Rental Car
We recommend that guests who are driving travel to the North Ferry (100 Third Street, Greenport, NY, 11944) to enjoy scenic views of the North Fork's wine country and the Long Island Sound and avoid the Hamptons traffic. It is an approximate 2.5-hour drive from Midtown Manhattan to the North Ferry.
Train
For guests traveling from New York City that are not driving, the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) or the Hampton Jitney are two great options with routes to Greenport. For the LIRR from Penn Station, board the train heading towards Ronkonkoma, and transfer in Ronkonkoma to the Greenport line. The Greenport Train Station is adjacent to the North Ferry.
Flight
For guests traveling from afar, we recommend flying into Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), or John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). ISP is approximately 1 hour by car to the North Ferry (note that flights into ISP are limited to a handful of airlines and cities). LGA and JFK are approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to the North Ferry.
Shuttle
June 13, 2025 2:00 pm - 12:00 am
On the day of the wedding, we have arranged for there to be shuttles from Shelter Island to the Greek Orthodox Church in Greenport, and from the church to the reception at Gardiner's Bay Country Club after the ceremony. For guests staying on Shelter Island, shuttles will depart from The Chequit Hotel at 2:00pm sharp. Guests staying in Greenport should find their way to the church at 702 Main St, Greenport, NY, by 2:45pm and can take the shuttle from the church to the reception after the ceremony. Starting at 10:30pm, shuttles will be available once every hour to take guests from the reception back to town near the various hotels on Shelter Island, as well as to the North Ferry. Note that the shuttles at 10:30pm and 11:30pm will not be going across the ferry to Greenport and guests will be required to walk on. The 12:00 am shuttle will take guests back to town, and then go across the ferry to Greenport and drop guests right near Main Street.
