********** LATE UPDATE ********** While the Rehearsal Dinner at Smith &Wollensky is limited to immediate family and bridal party members, any guests that are in the neighborhood on Thursday evening are invited to join the Rehearsal Dinner Guests at S&W on their private upstairs deck after 9:30 p.m. before we head to the Pre-Wedding event at the Hilton Bentley Penthouse. *************************************** The Bride & Groom would like to invite guests arriving in Miami Beach by Thursday evening, and any guests who live locally, to join them for a pre-wedding celebration in their suite at the Hilton Bentley after 10:30 p.m.

**** UPDATE****Miami Beach Veterans Day Parade**** Our wedding day coincides with Veterans Day in the U.S., and Remembrance Day in Canada. The Miami Beach Veterans Day Parade will begin at 11:11 a.m. and proceed from Ocean Drive and 5th Street to Ocean Drive and 15th Street with a wreath laying in Lummus Park. While the parade should have cleared by the time we are departing to the church, please plan for heavier than normal traffic and longer travel times! For those without transportation, we will be providing luxury motor coach transportation (aka "a bus") to transport guests from the Hilton Bentley Hotel in South Beach to the FUMC in Coral Gables for the ceremony, and returning once the bride and groom have said their "I do's"! Bus will be available at 1:00 p.m. for a prompt departure no later than 1:20 p.m. We recommend self-transportation for our local guests as space will be limited. Note: This service is provided on a BYOB basis 😎

As the reception venue is required to shut down by 11:00 p.m. due to local noise ordinances, the Bride and Groom have arranged for a private area to be set aside at one of their favorite casual local venues - South Pointe Tavern. The Tavern is a very short walk from the Hilton Bentley & Santorini. While South Pointe Tavern is open until 2 a.m., those that want to live the real Miami Beach lifestyle are welcomed to venture the short distance to the iconic "Ted's Hideaway" where you will be able to continue until closing at 5:00 a.m. Note that this is venue is not an official wedding weekend venue! Captain Craig will help guide interested guests! Dress code for Ted's is definitely down market! Note: Sunrise on November 12 is 6:37 a.m. and is normally spectacular and best viewed from the Miami Beach sea shore.

The Bride and Groom have arranged for a segregated area for wedding guest to enjoy the sands and seas of South Beach at the beautiful Santorini By Georgios Beach Club . Lounge chairs and towels will be provided. Light meals and drinks will be available for order. Note that discrete BYOB can work as well, but if anyone asks, you didn't hear that from the Bride and Groom 😎
