Kendall and Cameron met when they moved into the same apartment complex during their sophomore year at Cal Poly SLO. Kendall was told by Cameron's future roommate that he was a tall blonde that used to be on the football team, so she was definitely excited to meet him. One afternoon after work, Cameron woke up from a nap on the sofa to strangers laughing in his living room. To his surprise, Kendall and her roommates greeted him awake, and it wasn't two weeks later that she transferred into his physics class 'randomly'. They hit it off studying together, she seemed to always need help finding the velocity of a baseball or something. It was then that their beautiful relationship had begun and the rest of that year you could find them cooking meals, going to date parties, or studying in the library together. The next couple of years flew by as they enjoyed going to the beach, fishing and camping, or tending to their newly planted succulent pots together. San Luis Obispo was an incredibly special place to them, but during their senior year when Kendall landed a job in the city, Cameron knew he would do whatever it took to follow her to San Francisco. Living in their one bedroom apartment in the city for a year during the pandemic meant they learned a lot about one another rather quickly. Their relationship blossomed, but they just didn't feel at home, and wanted to be back on the central coast. They made the trip back to Santa Barbara and six months later they adopted their first dog, Oakley, from the SLO animal shelter. In Santa Barbara, they enjoy most of the same things they loved in college together; Kendall has more plants than ever and Cameron tries to catch as much food from the beach as he can. Cameron proposed to Kendall on the dunes of Montana de Oro where they had spent a lot of precious time together while they were in college. They are looking very forward to the married life and spending this celebration with you all.
