We're engaged!

In October of 2019, Kendall went to visit her friend, Danielle, in Memphis, TN for a weekend. Danielle and Brennan worked together at Babalu at the time, and Danielle had told Kendall to meet her up at Babalu since she still hadn't finished her shift. Oddly enough, Brennan was told Kendall was off limits, and Kendall was warned of Brennan's natural flirtatious spirit. Needless to say, in the end, neither of them listened to Danielle!

After up and suddenly moving to Memphis in June of 2020, Kendall and Brennan became close friends. Always hitting the pool tables together, and even being each other's wingman from time to time, the two became inseparable quickly. It took one brave night for Brennan to open up about feelings they were both pretending were not there for them to finally give dating a try. And funny enough, they fell perfectly in sync with each other! It only took a few weeks before "I love you" was said!

Brennan did so well at proposing! Not only did Kendall have no earthly idea how he would do it, but he was able to find the perfect excuse to get all of her family in town: his annual Fourth of July party! Brennan's favorite day of the year is not his birthday, not Christmas, but Independence Day! He loves having the whole family together just to eat, play games, and have fun watching the fireworks! So, he planned months in advance! He had the ring specially made by his little sister, Rylea, and did not even see it in person himself until the day he was proposing! He let the entire day go by as normal. Around 9 pm, everyone convinced a good group to go across the street to watch the fireworks, including Kendall. What she did not know was what was being set up back at the house. Pictures of Brennan and Kendall were hung up around the lights, rose petals were laid out to lead up to a rose petaled heart, and a giant poster read "Will You Marry Me?" next to a candle, red white and blue flowers, and the ring in its little box, opened for her to see when she walked up! About 50 people were gathered to watch as Brennan got down on one knee. She could not stop crying, and was too happy to speak. She's lucky she was able to get out the word "Yes!"
