We're Getting Married!

We met online and it truly was love at first swipe. What started as a simple match quickly became something that felt like forever. Our very first date was at Stonecreek in July of 2021, where we instantly clicked and spent the whole night laughing, talking, and imagining what could be. From that moment on, we both knew we had found something special. We dated for about a year before Brenden got down on one knee during the most special trip to Jamaica. It was a perfect moment that marked the beginning of the rest of our lives together. Shortly after our engagement, life took us on a new adventure: I moved to Kentucky to attend Eastern Kentucky University while Brenden stayed home with our families. Long distance has been hard, but it’s only strengthened the love we share. I come home for holidays and school breaks, and Brenden travels to Richmond to cheer me on during sorority events and big milestones. No matter the distance, we always show up for one another. We love traveling together and treating ourselves to ice cream date nights there’s not much that a scoop of black raspberry chip can’t fix! We’re also slightly competitive at Topgolf, especially when it comes to who can hit the ball the farthest (for the record, it’s definitely me). And our favorite moments are spent with our sweet fur babies Annie and Chance, and our little bundles of chaos and joy, Teddy and Priscilla. Now we’re counting down the days, hearts full of excitement, as we get ready to say “I do” in October of 2026. We can’t wait to begin forever together and see what the next chapter holds.
